Are you looking for a part-time opportunity with a growing organization?We are seeking an NP or PA to support the services of this well-know organization, which services include adult and adolescent immunizations for international travel, colleges & universities, study abroad/semester at sea, immigration, military readiness, disaster relief, and bioterrorism response.
Schedule
will be Monday & Tuesday in Fredericksburg, VA; Fridays Manassas, VA.
Each day will consist of 4 hours shifts for a total of 12 hours a week.

In this setting, the NP or PA will be primarily working with adults, male and female preparing for travel, predeployment for government, private corporations, and missions.
The NP or PA will work in conjunction with the in-house physician and a team of RNs to assist with the day-to-day operations, including, but not limited to, travel instruction to patients, vaccines for pre-deployment and civilian readiness, and orientation for travel.
Orientation can include malaria prevention, fluid intake, etc.
Required Skills/Licenses:
•
Must be comfortable working closely with a team???Physician, RNs, to provide care.
•
Ability to judge when to refer to in-house Physician.
•
Ability to learn and effectively communicate travel immunization regulations and alerts using a leading EMR software tool (Maxi-Vac).
•
Clinical responsibilities: immunizations (Pre-travel & Flu) and complete CDC/ itinerary booklet for travel, EKG & Audiogram evaluating fit for travel
•
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and excellent customer service skills.
•
Strong attention to detail organizational and analytical skills.
•
Computer proficiency and typing 35 WPM.
•
Excellent customer service is critical.
•
Must be an NP or PA Licensed in Virginia
Desired Skills:
•
Travel medicine not required, but a plus!
•
Prior experience completing deployment paperwork Form 2808 and Form 2807
Prior Maxi-Vac exposure, very desirable.
