KEY TECHNOLOGIES: - C#/.NET, MS Visual Studio - AJAX , JavaScript, jQuery - CSS, HTML/HTML5, XML - Web Services , REST, SOAP - SQL (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) - Oracle Coherence - MS Unity - MS Team Foundation Server & Team Build - Third Party test tools, including: Ranorex, Selenium, QUnit, MS Test, SilkPerformer KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and deliver software on cutting edge and growing platforms - Fulfill tasks as a member of an agile team, using agile practices (e.g. peer reviews and paired programming, Test Driven Development, daily stand up meetings) - Be able to quickly adapt to new technologies and changing requirements - Participate in requirement and design reviews with business partners and other engineers - Develop scripts, applets and automation tools which build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms; this includes client and server install scripts, and build and release automation scripts. - Create unit and integration tests for server- and client-side web applications using MS Test, QUnit and open source testing framework - Investigate and resolve issues in development, test and production environments At Thomson Reuters, we deliver intelligent information quickly and efficiently, so professionals have knowledge to act. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Ability to work in a fast-pace environment - Good verbal and written communication skills - Experience or coursework in the following technologies:: - .NET based application development - XML parsing using C#/.Net - IDE & Enterprise Source Code Control tools (e.g. MS Visual Studio, TFS) - Relational database (e.g. SQL, DB2/Oracle 9 or higher) - Dynamic HTML, XHTML, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery and CSS At Thomson Reuters, we believe what we do matters.
