We are actively seeking a Senior Java Web Applications Developer to design, develop, and support web applications and infrastructure projects as defined by our business and technology representatives. This includes developing new features and problem identification and resolution. The Senior Java Web Applications Developer will mainly utilize technologies including JSF, Richfaces, Spring, myBatis, Oracle PL/SQL, and JAX-WS running in a Weblogic environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years experience with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation.
- Minimum 5+ years experience working in both UNIX and/or Windows environments.
- Minimum 3+ years using open-source Java-based frameworks and tools
- Minimum 3+ years experience in estimating, validating and sizing of development projects
- Minimum 5+ years experience with web application development environments including JSP, Servlets, Struts, Spring, Ajax
- Minimum 5+ years experience working on web application servers such as Weblogic and Tomcat
Preferred skills:
- Experience with web programming including frameworks such as JSF, MyBatis or Hibernate, Spring
- Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies
- Experience with Web Services Development
- Experience with ant or Maven, Eclipse, and source control systems.
- Experience with Jasper/iReport system
- Experience with Internationalization of Web Application
- Experience with iPhone or Android development
- Knowledge of Apache Servers
- Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation
