Position Summary
The Latin America Sales Advisor processes student enrollment applications from overseas; maintains our student database; generates invoices and monitors invoice accuracy; establishes regular communication with Kaplan International Centers' field staff, international partner agencies, and students; provides high-quality customer service to our agents, students and field staff; and completes special projects and requests as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities
•Provide detailed advice and information on courses and services offered at those schools
•Develop excellent relationships with our partner agents
•Build strong relationships with colleagues in U.S. schools and developing a high level of familiarity with each school's staff and facilities
•Provide efficient, friendly and proactive customer service to agent partners and school personnel
•Continually look for ways to improve service, response times and quality of information
•Provide our agents with information on US immigration/visa regulations
•Take responsibility for own administrative tasks, i.e. faxing, filing, scanning, etc.
•Develop existing and new business in an agreed territory
•Work with RSMs to identify existing business to be serviced and developed; new business contacts to be worked on; marketing contributions, bonuses, etc.
•Undertake research on their allotted territory including size of market, market conditions (eg. economic, availability of visas), competitive environment (using agent websites, brochures, etc.)
•Travel to sales territories on an as needed basis
•Liaise with RSMS on distribution of brochures and promotional material
•Update mailing list and contact details and updating agent on Kaplan Aspect contact detail revisions
•Understand/update/brief other staff when necessary on status of agent/country, including credit control and finance issues
•Monitor worldwide service
•Product training

Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree
•Strong written and verbal communication skills  -Excellent organizational skills and the ability to solve problems and meet deadlines
•Commitment to excellence in customer service
•Computer literacy and data entry skills
•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications
•Prior experience with industry and/or international students
•Foreign language ability in Spanish and/or Portuguese
•Prior sales experienceMinimum Qualifications:
