Director of Client Services at Thomson Reuters, Chicago, IL
The Director of Client Services, Marketing Solutions is responsible for supporting the Marketing Solutions (Hospital Marketing Organizations) customers through implementation, product on-boarding, ongoing account management, providing reporting and strategic analysis, mail lists, creative/fulfillment services, and assisting clients to implement healthcare marketing best practices. The Director is responsible to manage the Client Services staff, including direct supervision of daily activities, training, and professional development.- Develop and maintain high satisfaction and effective working relationships with clients by ensuring responsive and accurate fulfillment of commitments, while delivering significant benefit and ROI from their ongoing relationship with Thomson Reuters marketing offerings.
- Build effective working relationships with Sales and Strategic Consulting to support sales activities and consulting delivery to ensure client satisfaction, ability to resolve product or service issues, and identify cross-sell or up-sell opportunities
- Partner with Product Management, Marketing and other internal departments to identify, create and execute the marketing solutions strategy within the Hospitals market.
- Provide client feedback and market intelligence to Product Management and Technology regarding product issues and enhancements, and collaborate to assist with enhancement of project and data remediation initiatives
- Coordinate client implementation, data submission and regular data processing activities to ensure high client satisfaction, consistent handling and high quality outcomes.
- Coordinate with Education Services the design and delivery of training programs to increase client usage and value.
- Participate in the design and implementation of marketing materials such as case studies and process to support new sales.
- Build and lead a high performing team, providing performance feedback, meaningful performance objectives and regular feedback; promptly and effectively address performance concerns.

- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred; masters degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years progressive experience in client-facing roles; experience in hospital marketing and business development/planning required
- Five years of prior management and leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic business goals and financial targets.
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing solution offerings and understanding of client activities, objectives and expectations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to perform and achieve results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly, effectively, and persuasively communicate to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different groups to drive both organizational and team performance.
- Broad understanding of financial, project management, consulting, and other business skills.
- Ability to foresee, interpret, and rapidly respond to market changes by adjusting strategies and realigning priorities accordingly.
- Ability to solve complex problems efficiently and effectively, relying on experience, creativity and autonomy.

- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
